Video Storytelling

Video storytelling uses film to communicate what an organization stands for — through customer stories, founder profiles, recruitment films, and social-first clips. TwoRoads Strategy produces video at every level, from a same-day phone shoot to a multi-camera production with a full crew. The story determines the format. We do not sell you a production scale you do not need.

Does Video Storytelling Have to Be a Big Production?

No, and often it should not be. A founder talking straight into a phone camera in the shop where the business started will outperform a polished corporate film that says nothing. The right question is not how expensive the camera was. It is whether the person on screen is telling the truth in a way that is worth two minutes of a stranger’s attention.

Three Production Levels

Phone-first. We produce phone-first video deliberately, not as a budget compromise. Footage is shot by us or by your team with our direction. Built for social feeds. Fast, frequent, and effective. Best for founder commentary, job site footage, and behind-the-scenes.

Single-operator. One videographer with professional camera, lighting, and audio. Best for customer testimonials, interviews, and short brand films where quality matters but scale does not.

Full production. Multi-camera, dedicated crew, scripting, art direction, and post. Best for brand anthem films, capital campaign videos, and anything that will run for years.

The Stories We Tell

Customer and client story films. Founder and leadership profiles. Recruitment and culture video. Donor and impact films for nonprofits. Product and process explainers. Social-first vertical cuts, usually pulled from footage already shot for something else. We also cut footage you already own into new pieces, which is frequently the cheapest way to get something publishable this month.

How a Project Runs

We start with the story, not the shot list. Discovery and interview prep, then a shoot day, then editing with two rounds of revision. You receive the primary film plus vertical and square cuts for social, captions, and stills.
